personally, i dun understand why it was named Book Of Secrets when the main theme of the show was to find some treasure island and the Book of Secrets was only one part of the clue needed..
Basically, it was about this benjamin gates(nicolas cage) guy (again) who was being too free to go dig up the past and all and going thru lotsa troubles and risks includin kidnappin the U.S. President (imagine dat!) jus to clear his ancestor's name (who was being accused as being one of the accomplices in the can't-remember-the-year conspiracy to kill Abraham Lincoln).. and in order to do that, he hadta prove the existence of a hidden treasure island.. and along came this guy, something wilkinson (cant rilli remember his name) who also happens to be the one who came up with ancient paper that suggests ben gate's ancestor of being the accomplice.. He was on ben's trail cuz he wans to get the credit of being the one who finds the treasure island (again, these ppl are jus too free) then, along da way, they get clues that lead to other clues dat eventually leads to the treasure la of corz.. so, they found the treasure la..
SUDDENLY, the room that they were in was rapidly being filled with water and they had to escape by going into the next room and closing the door..
BUT the trick to it was : two guys were needed to push some wheel-like stone in order to open the door and one person hadta stay behind to keep the door open while the others go, erm, more like being carried by the tide into the other room.. the wilkinson fella wanted to go first but blah, blah, blah, conditions changed.. so, in the end, da wilkinson guy became THE gentleman (after becomin the villain throughout the whole show) and stayed behind to close the door la and died.. and everyone lived happily ever after again.. but THE best part was Riley got back his Ferrari and his car is now... TAX FREE!! compliments from the President (SO COOL!!)
personally, i liked the part where ben put in his hand into the stone and screamed.. haha, so funny.. in my opinion and several others, based on the President's book aka the Book Of Secret's page 47, i think there's gonna be a National Treasure 3.. well, at least,.. there was some kinda mystery bout it..
anyway, after that, on the way back, i walk through The Street. i saw a rilli cool stall. it's the kind that sell those catchy phrases t-shirt.. well, these were the two i bought..
(sadly, only two, maybe i should buy more '',) well, if anyone wants to buy it, The Street's located between the Curve and Cineleisure.. jus search thru ler, that stall only sells these t-shirts..
