6/2 : won a free cd from fly.fm.. haha, it was a funny story actually.. i tot it was my fren, Ryan, trying to prank call me when it was da Fly. FM DJ, steve who was callin me..
steve: hello? is this carolyn?
me: ya (sarcastically)
steve: (sounding a little shocked) er, hello, is this carolyn?
me: ya (still sarcastically)
steve: (sounding shocked again) is this carolyn?
me: ya ya (still being sarcastic)
steve: is this 017-(my number)?
me: ya, aboh.. (once again, sarcastically)
steve: carolyn, have you won anything from fly. fm recently for the pass 30days?
me: (monologue : oh sh*t, it's not ryan) erm, no.
steve: congratulations! you've just won a free clubbers yearbook cd (and something else i cant remember)
me: (feeling embarassed) oh, ok.
steve: carolyn, can you do me a favor.. can you just say 'thank you very much'?
me: oh, sure (even more embarassed) thank you very much.
steve: btw, carolyn, are you from penang?
me: yes (feeling puzzled)
steve: oh, because it sounds like you were speaking hokkien to a friend.
me: (speechless but deep inside, exploded in embarassment)
steve: i'll call you back in a little while to get your details.
well, there is a more embarassin continuation to this story (which happened the day after).. my conversation with basil, this time.. anoda fly. fm DJ. but, i wont be writing here cuz the story sounds much funnier and embarassin by speech than thru writing.. anyway, i received my cd a month later and this is how it looks like.. well, not all the songs are nice but overall, it's ok la..
23/2 : RC enrolment.. my first attempt of being an MC.. haha, well, every1 has their flaws right? nevertheless, the ceremony ran quite smoothly and i gained a new 'son' named Scott from PFS, my MC colleague of the day.. (he, of course, was a natural, having done numerous MC-ings, unlike me) he was a really funny guy but he's kinda eccentric and mike-obsessed (accordin to nadhirah)
15/3 : i bought a new dog!!! haha.. a silky terrier.. and guess wat my bro named it.. HONEY! (again!) after the last dog which went missing (due to da mistake made by, yours truly) anyway, she's two years old.. when we first saw her, she looked EXACTLY like our dog which went missing (my last dog was also a terrier, except, not a pure one) but the fur of her body were all shaven!! she was like... a bald dog! then we found out it was because her previous owner left the responsibility of looking after the dog to their maid and the maid, having a hectic schedule daily, didn't have time to groom the dog and in time, all the fur got tangled.. so it had to be shaven off.. but nevertheless, she's cute.. she was shy at first but now she's gotten used to her and is more hyperactive ('',)
the first time we saw her.. haha, she was so.. hairless...
she curls up like a ball when she sleeps ('',)
19/3 : SPORTS DAY! finally after hours and hours of marching practice under the sweltering heat and scorching sun, D-Day has come.. we gave in all we had for our marching hoping to get first. there were lots of comments later saying green house marched the best.. BUT in the end, turned out, blue house won.. argh, okok, no hard feelings.. but i think the only reason we lost was cuz of our shirt.. there were rumours saying dat da background of our house marching shirt must be mainly the colour of our house, and cannot be black.. and every house's shirt background is black except blue house. (not our fault! the uncle who printed our shirt used the wrong background colour!!!) haha, and i think i really cursed our house. once, during house meeting, our house teacher told us to get first for this year's sports day.. and i joked, tellin her, yes, we'll get first..... from the back.. and turned out, we really got first from the back on sports day.. haha..
haha, altho we didn't win, but to me, WE'RE ALL WINNERS!! because we did our best.. haha..

21/3 : julin's treat at new world lane. we were suppose to go dominoes' in gurney at first but, change of plans. so, we ate at manhattan fish market. we ordered like, ALOT of food, but i cant remember if we took pics of it or not. anyway, the food was DELICIOUS! haha.. then, it was time to sing the b'day song for the birthday girl, miss lee julin! haha..
we sang, took pics, cut the cake, took pics, eat while taking pics, again (but sadly i dun hv the photos yet) then we went to walk around in new world park and.. took lotsa pics again.. (again, i havent gotten the photos from chiew wen yet but i'll post wateva i have)
we went into this gift shop, and i saw a huge collection of bouquets.. haha, rilli cute, but i only manage to take part of it cuz the collection was humongous! then after awhile, we sat down and had ais kacang.. haha.. yum.. (a pity for those studyin abroad who can't enjoy our m'sian food now, haha) after dat, julin's mum came to pick us up then pick julin's bro up from her dad's office.. COLIN IS SO CUTE!!!!! gosh.. and of course, we vained again ('',)
we dropped nicole off first (nicole's house is a source of noise pollution thanks to her schnauzer (with its high-pitched barks) and shih tzu.. then, julin's mum drop us off one by one and we went home ('',)
29/3 : haha, i got food poisoning for the first time in my life.. woke up at 1am and 2am and vomited darn lot.. and suddenly a thought came into my mind, is this how morning sickness feels like when ur pregnant? my sickness lasted the whole day, couldn't do much the whole day except for sleeping.. couldn't even finish my food.. in total, i ate two and a half slices of bread the whole day.. haha.. but the good news is, at least i didn't have to go clean graves nor go for that *i shall not give any comments* canteen prefects camp.. was recovering the next day but not 100%, had to attend tennis training twice.. vomited again on monday.. gosh, so near MSSPP..
HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH : MSSPP TENNIS 2008 (1st-4th april)
1st April - first day of MSSPP.. first day for my skool mag photo session too.. kaveta and zhu qing gave me my early b'day present (i feel so bad, i din even prepare their presents yet) anyway, i hang out with sarah, elaine, and the guys.. gosh, listenin to sarah and chih yao is the best.. both of them are really like husband and wife.. jus hanging out with them all was enuf to make me laugh like mad.. but it was a total torture.. my match was scheduled at 12.30.. and i ended up playing at 2 something.. sucky wei, had to wait for sooo long.. but i won ler, at least.. haha, i pity hsien yang more.. his match was suppose to start at 2.. i wanted to play an april fool prank on him, telling him his match has been postponed to the next day.. turned out, my prank happened for real.. note to self : i need to stop making bad jokes which may happen for real.. then i found out at night, dat i missed THREE photoshoots, which wasn't scheduled for tuesday.. canteen prefects, english language society and chess (2 of which i PRESIDE!!!! darn it!)
2nd april - my match started early today.. played against jeslyn tan, 1st seed.. sigh, during warm up, i did well and had confidence i could go for the next round.. but, i started making mistakes when i played and eventually, i lost.. sigh.. then, yimei, kaveta and i went for slurpie.. haha.. havent had it for ages!! then i went back to skool for rc photoshoot and then, went home..
3rd april - went to skool first, went for ed board and class photo then went to usm.. warmed up with xin ling at 11something.. then suddenly our match was up, crap, i din even practice my service yet.. but anyway, we went for our doubles match, against pcghs.. which was the quarter finals (got bye for first round cuz we were seeded 2nd) four misunderstanding occured. 3 of which was suppose to be our points, but long story short, we gave them the points. the last one was the worse, in which xin ling accidentally served and hit the girl's leg.. she wasnt very happy.. then 2nd serve, we played the point, the girl gave drop shot, i return at first bounce but the girl (whose leg xin ling hit) said it was already 2nd bounce.. how was she suppose to know when she already turned her back at that moment. xin ling serve again, that girl made noise again so to not waste time, we gave in to her.. but in the end, we won 8-2.. we're in for semis.. half an hour later, we played against kaveta and ivy (my cucumber fren).. ivy was vicious, haha.. we lost 0-6,1-6..
after dat, we went to khaleel.. anoda incident happened which made sarah and i angry.. then, we went to ms lee.. after dat, i went to for baskie's (everything back to back).. and fell flat on the sofa when i went home.. din even have strength to go upstairs to sleep in my room anymore..
