the recent case of a man imprisoning his daughter and repeatedly... doing the 'unthinkable' has left many horror-stricken.. not only that, he conceived SEVEN children with her (thank you, mr incest for ruining my lucky number) it hasn't been long since the case of the child prodigy prostituting herself and throwing her future away.. this all only leads us to one question... what has become of our society today?..
incest.. there hasn't been many cases of it being made known.. but the thought of it's bare existence is ground breaking enough.. yes, it may be true that in ancient times, incest was a norm in society.. but with the advancement of science and technology in our twenty first century, shouldn't we be the ones who are more civilized? shouldn't we ALL know dat incest is just plain wrong?
ok, not many people have done so, but let's think of it from the child's point of view.. everywhere he or she goes, heads will turn, ppl will whisper behind their backs, and they'll be known as, none other than the 'offspring of incest'
or at home, when these children are suppose to grow up in a normal, i quote, NORMAL environment instead, when they learn to address their elders. should they be calling their mother's significant other as 'papa'? or 'grand papa'? (either way, i guess they wouldn't be wrong)
or how about in school when they are asked to talk about their family.. ''this man is my father.. he also happens to be.. my mother's father'' now, won't dat be just plain weird to hear..
there are, after all, SO many fishes in the sea.. for goodness sake, why pick one which happens to be your own FLESH and BLOOD.. well, i've had my say.. so now, i shall return to my studying ('',)
